Surface Process of Grating
Hot Galvanizing
Hot galvanizing is performed after the end welding process. For bearing bars with thickness ≥5mm, the average zinc layer weight will be ≥610g/m². For thickness <5mm, the average zinc layer weight will be ≥460g/m². Quality and requirements conform to GB/T 13912 standards.
Lacquering
Additional protection layer applied through spraying, brushing, or soaking methods.
Service Life of Hot Galvanizing
With a zinc coating thickness of 100μm, the product's anticipated lifespan varies according to environmental conditions.
Anti-Acid and Alkali Corrosion Capacity
Effective in pH range of 6-12.5, forming a stable protective film on the zinc surface with excellent anti-corrosive properties.
Calculation of Weight and Area
  • Weight increases after welding and galvanizing: 12% for 30mm pitch, 14% for 40mm pitch, and 16% for 60mm pitch bearing bars
  • Custom-sized gratings are calculated based on actual area (including cutouts and taps)
  • Gratings made to customer drawings are calculated by total outside dimensions
  • Unusual size cutouts are not deducted from length and width measurements
